Where Are They Now? Ellis Island.

“How far would you travel to find a better life? What if the journey took weeks u far difficult conditions? If you answered, “Whatever it takes,” you echo the feelings of the 12 million immigrants who passed through the now quiet halls of Ellis Island from 1892 to 1954.” (www.nps.gov, Ellis Island)

From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command. The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. “Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she with silent lips.
